How it all began

DIG was established in 2003 by William and Julie Yeh, third-generation sourcing and manufacturing professionals from Taiwan. Their goal was to merge decades of industry expertise with a nuanced understanding of American consumer behavior and cultural trends.

A new start and new roots

After relocating to Los Angeles, William and Julie established DIG with a focus on creating high-quality, design-forward products tailored to the American market. Their location provided valuable insight into evolving consumer tastes and retail opportunities. A few years later, William’s cousin Jason Yeh joined the company, bringing a Fine Arts background and experience at Pottery Barn. His creative leadership added depth to DIG’s product development capabilities.

Growing through the years

Today, DIG is a dynamic, well-respected organization supported by 25 team members in Los Angeles, more than 50 sourcing professionals overseas, and a nationwide network of designers and creatives.
